Solid Oxide Electrolyser (SOE), can operate with high efficiency as hydrogen produce using renewable energy coming from renewable energy source (RES). This technology can be integrated in many industrial plant reducing the requirement of traditional fossil sources and increasing the sustainability of the process. In addition, if an heat source is available at high temperature, SOE get additional advantage in terms of efficiency. This study presents the integration of a SOE in an ammonia synthesis plant evaluating the advantages that can be achieved in terms of environmental benefits
