The main topic of this thesis is the introduction to the issue of the companies in the early stage with a big growth potential, so called start-ups. The first years of the company´s existence are very difficult. This is showed on the example of a real company. The original business plan can be changed a lot during the first years of the company, due to big changes in the company´s internal and external environment. The theoretical part of the thesis summaries the issues of strategic management and making business plans, defines a start-up and summaries the options of how to finance start-ups.
