Unemployment development in the Czech Republic - Case study of Olomouc region

The summary of this bachelor thesis deals with the developments in unemployment in the Czech Republic Case study of Olomouc region. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts for understanding the main problem. The used terms are: unemployment, its types, unemployment causes and consequences of unemployment. The thesis also includes a part which is titled Demographic indicators of the Czech Republic which deals with the birth and death of people in the Czech Republic. The practical part of this bachelor has an introduction that deals with the Olomouc region. The practical part is elaborated on the basis of descriptive and comparative methods of research of unemployment in individual districts of the Olomouc region. Unemployment analysis is processed using tables and graphs, where the main resources of all the tables and graphs are the Czech Statistical Office and Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. The development of unemployment is examined for the resent period with the aim to evaluate of this unemployment development. Unemployment development is positive (the unemployment decreases) in the districts of Olomouc region due to the stable economy and thanks to expanding and building new businesses that recruit new employees
