This propeller was built in 1922 by Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company, Manitowoc, Wisconsin. She was owned by Rockport Steamship Company, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, until 1964 when she was sold to Reiss Steamship Company, Sheboygan, Wisconsin. In 1981, she was sold to Dale Transports, Mississauga, Ontario, and she became "Leadale." She was lengthened by 108 feet by Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company in 1940. As "John A. Kling," she suffered small engine room fire off Sherwood Point, Green Bay, April 23, 1980. As "Leadale," she was grounded in St. Lawrence Seaway, at west end of South Shore Canal on Lac St. Louis, August 1, 1981.
