This propeller was built in 1908 by Great Lakes Engineering Works, Ecorse, Michigan. She was owned by Pennsylvania Steamship Company, Buffalo, New York, until 1916, when she was bought by American Steamship Company, Buffalo, New York. In 1928, she became "G. N. Wilson," in 1931, she became "Consumers Power," in 1934, she became "Harry Yates," and in 1939, she became "Edmund P. Smith."
