PERSAINGAN EKONOMI POLITIK AS-TIONGKOK DI KAWASAN ASIA PASIFIK DALAM KERANGKA TPP DAN FTAAP

2016Yuliyanti Sulaiman, E131 12 001, with title ???The United States of America -\ud People???s Republic of China Economic Political Rivalry in Asia Pacific under\ud The TPP and FTAAP framework??? supervised by Adi Suryadi B as\ud supervisor I and Agussalim as supervisor II International Relations\ud Department, Social and Political Science Faculty, Hasanuddin University.\ud This research???s purpose is to determine the reasons of The United States of\ud America - People???s Republic of China's Political Economic Rivalry in Asia\ud Pacific and the forms of rivalry engaged regarding TPP and FTAAP in Asia\ud Pasific .\ud Research method in this thesis is descriptive-explanative type. A library research\ud is the data collection technique through literatures, journals, theses, formal\ud documents, essays, reports, magazines, newspapers and related articles.\ud The results of this research indicate that the reasons behind Economic Political\ud rivalry between USA-PRC are related to the decline of USA???s power in Asia\ud Pacific, rise of PRC???s capacity and capabilities, threats to USA???s influences in\ud Asia Pasific and national interest of each party. This research also shows that\ud Ecomic Politic rivalry between US and PRC appears in form of US's proposal in\ud establishing TPP based on US's interest without the involvement of PRC with\ud PRC's respond to it by accelerating the establishment of FTAAP in Asia Pasific.\ud Keywords: Rivalry, United States of America, People???s Republic of China,\ud Asia Pacific, Powe
