Engineered nanomaterials (ENMs) exhibit special physicochemical properties and thus are finding their way into an increasing number of industries, enabling products with improved properties. Their increased use brings a greater likelihood of exposure to the nanoparticles (NPs) that could be released during the life cycle of nano-abled products.
