Monica Hakimi, an up-and-coming legal scholar and assistant professor of law at the University of Michigan Law School, delivered the third annual Judge Stephanie K. Seymour Lecture in Law at The University of Tulsa College of Law February 22, 2010. Her lecture was titled “Operationalizing the Responsibility to Protect . Hakimi earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from Duke University in 1997 and her J.D. in 2001 from the Yale Law School.
