He was born March 12, 1909 and he died December 4, 2007. He arrived in the United States in 1934 and he moved to Washington, D.C. in 1938. This original portrait was acquired by the Library of Congress Prints and Photographic Division through the Asian Pacific American (APA) Primary Holdings Initiative of the Asian Division, Library of Congress, Clemente C. Cacas Family Collection, in 2010
