MATRIX ISOLATION VIBRATIONAL SPECTRA OF METAL COORDINATED OXYANIONS. THE USE OF ISOTOPE PATTERNS AND BAND INTENSITIES IN STRUCTURAL CHARACTERIZATION OF HIGH TEMPERATURE MOLECULES

The metal isotopic shift of the stretching mode from high resolution IB spectra and band intensity measurements have been used to evaluate the bond angles and compared with the electron diffraction data. $^{18}O$ enrichment studies along with normal coordinate analyses further confirm the band assignment
