Author Institution: Herzberg Institute of Astrophysics, National Research Council of CanadaThe 337.5 nm line of the $Kr^{+}$ laser has been used to excite a single rovibronic transition of the $\widetilde{A}{^{1}}A_{2}-\widetilde{X}{^{1}}A_{1}$ system of formaldehyde. Rotational structure has been resolved in fluorescence to the ground electronic state. The fluorescence forms vibrational progressions in the carbonyl stretch $(\nu_{2}^{^{\prime\prime}})$ the Symmetric in plane bend $(\nu_{3}^{^{\prime\prime}})$ and twice the out of plane bend $(2\nu_{4}^{^{\prime\prime}})$ extending over $10,000\, cm^{-1}$ to the red of the exciting line."
