Author Institution: Eastman Kodak Company, Research Laboratories; Eastman Kodak Company, University of RochesterThe emission lines of the mixed crystal system of pentacene in terphenyl show appreciable narrowing at 1.7$^{\circ} K$ with narrow line ($\sim$ $0.015 cm^{-1}$) laser excitation. The emission lines were found to have a width on the order of $0.034 cm^{-1}$. Some evidence indicates that the observed line width may be system limited so that the actual line width of the 0-0 band may approach the radiation width
