We report observation of photon-echoes and self-induced transparency effects in molecular mixed crystals. These coherent optical phenomena were observed in the short-axis polarized transitions (1B2u ← 1Ag) of the large organic molecules tetracene and pentacene in a p-terphenyl mixed crystal.
