This essay aims to point out the differences between the theory of world’s model, as it is developed in my book Crítica y sabotaje (2011), and the theory of possible worlds carried out between the 70s and 90s by Petöfi, Dolezel or Albaladejo. Our main point is the following one: while theory of possible worlds pays attention to what is outside of the text, in a different “possible” world, the theory of world’s model keeps the text’s reference centered in the world.
