WILLIAMSBURG (AP) -- Former U.S. Sen. William B. Spong Jr. of Virginia, dean of the College of William and Mary law school, said Saturday he has no plans to reenter politics. Spong said he will devote 100 percent of his time to his job at the Marshall-Wythe School of Law. He said his goals include seeing plans for a new law building become a reality and helping to reshape what he considers a good law school into a better one. Spong was defeated in 1972 by GOP Sen.
