A first expedition focusing on the architectural study of the Roman baths of Sleim (southern Syria, Sweida region) was carried out in July 2008 within the framework of the Balnéorient fieldwork project (ANR). The results of this work are twofold: they have demonstrated the interest in terms of heritage and history of this small building and have enabled scholars to better understand the appearance of thermal Roman pratices in Southern Syria.<br />The building's exceptional state of preservation allows a reconstruction of its inner works, of its evolution and enables one to suggest a chronological attribution between the end of the first and the second century AD.Une première mission d'étude architecturale sur les bains romains de Sleim (Syr...
