Abstract The purpose of the research is to crystallise and test a learning model when the object of study is in an area of education called technology education. On a nominal level, it can be defined as education for a world based on technology. The starting point for the research is contemplation of everyday technological problems. Because some citizens cope with technological problems better than others, there must be differences in technological literacy. In this research these differences are assumed to be dependent on how technology is learnt. In consequence, some of us adopt technology better than others. Some people are technologically literate.
