1) The degree of salt precipitation and superprecipitation of myosin B (washed 4 times) in several reaction mixtures were measured. Experiments were made in series, with and without Michaelis' veronal acetate buffer solution. 2) Salt precipitation was comparatively intensive in lower salt concentration (0.1 M KCl). 3) Superprecipitation, on the contrary, was comparatively intensive in higher salt concentration (0.2 M KCl). 4) It may be said that the mechanism of superprecipitation differs (at least partly) from that of salt precipitation
