Four photos taken at the Coalition for Human Rights rally at the Triforium in downtown Los Angeles. The Coalition was formed to protest Anita Bryant's anti-gay/lesbian Save Our Children campaign. It was planned that the main body of the coalition, which included the Gay Community Services Center, march through the streets to the Triforium and join Brenda, Pat Rocco and other speakers there at what was supposed to be the Coaltio's big and official rally, but at the last moment, they veered off and marched to another location downtown, where they held a separate rally, complete with large crowds of newspeople, who had been alerted to the switch, waiting for them. Their rally is the one that went down in history as the official rally. (Top left, top right, bottom right photos) Looking towards the speaker's tent.
