Callirhoe triangulata (Leavenw.) A.Gray, determined by L.J. Dorr 1983probable Isolectotype, Attached discussion: " There would seem to be little doubt that the Houghton material came from Cassville, now in Grant County, Wisconsin (but in 1831 still part of Michigan Territory)." Discussion also makes a case for why the date of 1850 on the label is wrong and that 1831 is more likely to be correct
