Churches Want To Open On Sunday

*The Federation of Churches passed a resolution yesterday recommending churches to hold mass on Sunday, “In view of the fact that the state board of health ahs removed the ban on public meetings, also in view of the fact that the epidemic of influenza appears to be subsiding in Lowell.” The resolution added that churches should follow this advice provided that the State or City Boards of Health make no order to the contrary [Note: the City Board of Health had not rescinded the church closure order by this date].
