Day, in charge of influenza cases among the S.A.T.C. at University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Tech is ill with Spanish influenza; expects to be able to return to active duty in a few days• Medical officers say greatest need is for volunteer nurses• At the Elizabeth Steel Magee Hospital, six nurses recently became ill and a notice forbidding visitors was posted yesterday• Maj. Day arranged for the use of 80 beds at West Penn Hospital for new cases; Magee has a capacity of 275 beds and currently houses 260 ill soldiers; additionally 160 soldiers are in the infirmaries at Pitt, Tech, St. Francis, and the United States Military Hospital• Dr. Ogden M.
