Influenza Closes Camden Schools

• Chief Medical Officer Davis and Supt. of Schools Bryan have closed public schools in Camden for a week• Dr. Davis reports 2,000 students and 75 teachers absent due to illness• Courts were adjourned today, and Davis has requested authority from the state to closed all theaters and movie theaters• Red Cross in Philadelphia requests that any women with nurses training register for service• Krusen, Director of Dept of Public Health and Charities, states that many of the new cases were initially unreported by overworked physicians • Miss Susan C.
