Local Health Regulations To Be Modernized

• “Brought to the service by the influenza epidemic, the state commission which is engaged in a study of sickness and the causes thereof, has encountered a strong sentiment for improvement of local health administrative machinery. This was one of the problems on which Health Commissioner A.W. Freeman was at work at the time he was called into army service. It is anticipated that the members of the next General Assembly, who are to be chosen next week, will be keenly interested in the subject and for this reason the Commission is now working on a recommendation on this subject.
