Seung Wha Chang is one of the seven Members of the World Trade Organization’s Appellate Body. Chang is also a Professor of Law at Seoul National University School of Law, where he began his academic career in 1995 and was awarded tenure in 2002. He has taught international trade law and, in particular WTO dispute settlement, at more than ten foreign law schools, including Harvard Law School, Yale Law School, Stanford Law School, New York University, Duke Law School, and Georgetown University. In addition, Professor Chang previously served as a judge on the Seoul District Court, handling many cases involving international trade disputes.
