The full title of this document gives an indication both to whom it is directed in the Church and its subject matter: \u27Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation (Sacramentum Caritatis) of the Holy father Benedict XVI to the bishops, clergy, consecrated persons and the lay faithful on the Eucharist as the Source and Summit of the Church\u27s Life and Mission\u27. The title connects the Eucharist back to earlier documents in the era of Pope John Paul II and his plan for a Synod with a Eucharist focus. Pastoral Liturgy is published by the University of Notre Dame Australia, School of Philosophy and Theology, Fremantle
