This study determined the quantity and type of circulating immune complexes (CIC) in the sera of 15 patients with localised juvenile periodontitis (LJP). There was a significantly higher level IgG and IgM in LJP patients as compared with the controls. The possible role of CIC in the pathogenesis of juvenile periodontitis is discussed.Dental College, Kerala, Indi
