These photographs show the Amitabha Buddha cave (Ch. Amituofo dong 阿彌陀佛洞) located in Kongque dong 孔雀洞, Anyue xian 安岳縣, Sichuan sheng 四川省. It is situated in between the Peacock Cave (Ch. Kongque dong 孔雀洞) and the Three Buddha Cave (Ch. San fo dong 三佛洞). The Amitābha Buddha Cave features two layers: on the upper layer, there are four Amitābha Buddha statues; on the lower layer, there are two niches on the left (stone reliefs of buddhas and devotees) and four statues of local deities on the right, including the deity of wind (second from the right) and the deity of thunder (third from the right).
