The contemporary pandemic has put these deregulated, privatized economies under particular strain – market solutions to social problems have proven dramatically, drastically, predictably inefficient. In the sphere of education, the isolation of school pupils and workers, mandated in the interest of public health, has driven a return to public broadcasting.
