Data for Silicone Motor Design -Direct Current Small Motor-

The first electrical machine depended on organic insulation，and so do today' s machines. Organic varnishes，although measurably improved, have not basically changed. The new silicone resins bring to insulation the much higher temperature limit of the silicon-oxygen chain as compared to the carbon-to-carbon chain. The new silicone resins have been tried on many types of apparatus. The introduction of silicone-resins insulations is a major step forward in electrical apparatus. Boosting the temperature limit of rotating machines the increase in the output and the decrease in the weight and bulk of them have been significantly allowed. But it seems there are various questions that must be solved yet pending in the way of manufacture and design etc. Having reported calculation data for silicone induction motor previously， the writer introduces in this paper some design data for a small direct current silicone motor
