EL JUEGO LÚDICO Y SU APORTE EN LA ENSEÑANZA-APRENDIZAJE DEL IDIOMA INGLÉS EN LA EDUCACIÓN BÁSICA

The ludic game is considered teaching-learning English a valuable strategy in the classroombecause it allows creating a significant impact on the student, motivating them to continuelearning the language due to its dynamic character. For this reason, the objective of this articlewas to determine the contribution of the ludic game in teaching-learning of the EnglishLanguage to the students of the 8th Year of Unidad Educativa Particular of Santa Ana Canton,of the Manabí province, Ecuador. Therefore, the methodology used was the design of fieldresearch, with a mixed approach, applying techniques such as the survey, based on the LikertScale, which was directed to 22 students of the 8th Year; and an interview directed to the teacherwho teaches the subject of English. The main results reveal that the teacher frequently usesgames as part of the recursive tools, which allows all students to participate satisfactorily. Inconclusion, ludic games become an innovative method and a benchmark for new pedagogicalmodels for educational environments.El juego lúdico dentro del proceso de enseñanza–aprendizaje es una estrategia valiosa en lasaulas de clases, permitiendo crear en el estudiante un impacto significativo motivándoles aseguir aprendiendo. El objetivo de este artículo es determinar el aporte del juego lúdico en laenseñanza-aprendizaje del idioma inglés en los estudiantes de octavo año de educación básicaen una Unidad Educativa Particular del cantón Santa Ana, provincia de Manabí, Ecuador. Elproceso metodológico consistió en el diseño de campo, con enfoque mixto, aplicando técnicas como la encuesta, basada en la escala de Likert, misma que fue dirigida a 22 estudiantes del octavo año; y una entrevista dirigida al docente de inglés. Los hallazgos develaron que, el profesor emplea los juegos de manera frecuente como parte de las herramientas recursivas, lo cual permite que todos los estudiantes participen satisfactoriamente. Se concluyó que, los juegos lúdicos se convierten en un método innovador y un referente de los nuevos modelos pedagógicos para los entornos educativos
