Metoda retrogresji w geografii historycznej Polski (wybrane zagadnienia)

The article presents material for discussion on the principles of using retrogression in historical geography. The introduction presents the characteristics of this method. The main part of the article is based on the experiences of working with detailed maps of the lands of the Polish Crown in the 16th century. The source basis and content of these maps are discussed, indicating the degree of certainty or probability of the presented landscape elements.
