Culex (Culex)? laurenti, Newstead. Some female specimens from Tananarive (Neiret, 1904) are perhaps this species, though it is possible that they may belong to the variety of C. pipiens with an unhanded abdomen, which is known from East Africa and from the Mediterranean region.Published as part of F.
