مقاصد البلاء في ضوء القرآن الكريم: دراسة موضوعية/The Purposes of Allah's Trials from a Quranic Perspective: A Thematic Study

Allah has revealed the Noble Qur’an as a way of life for all people, so he commanded us to contemplate it in order to understand its meanings, eliciting its judgments, revealing the faces of its miracles, extracting its universal laws, and exploring its secrets and wisdom. The Almighty Allah said: ﴾a Book We have revealed to you abounding in good that they may ponder over its verses, and that those endowed with understanding may be mindful﴿ ]Sad: 29]. It is well known that Allah, when He created thie universe, made for it a laws that organized the life of creations, and the breach of this laws leads to the emergence of corruption throughout the land and sea, and from these divine laws: the law of affliction with good and evil stipulated in the Noble Qur’an, and the disruption of this law has led to the loss of prosperity in living and health in the body, and the gain of difficulties in life and sickness in the body, and this is no doubt due to the lack of awareness among people about the purposes of affliction mentioned in the Noble Qur’an, because knowing the purposes of affliction is a powerful way to know how to preserve good and defend evil. The research aimed to explain the purposes of afflictions stipulated in the Noble Qur’an, by employing the inductive analytical approach, then the deductive approach. The research discovered twelve Qur’anic purposes on afflictions, namely: the affliction with the purpose of achieving worship for Allah alone, the affliction with the purpose to extract supplication, the affliction with the purpose to extract supplication, the affliction with the purpose of extracting patience, the affliction with the purpose of extracting contentment, the affliction with the purpose of extracting gratitude, the affliction with the purpose of extracting repentance, the affliction with the purpose of mercy, the affliction with the purpose of scrutiny, the affliction with the purpose of soliciting, the affliction with the purpose of intimidation, the affliction with the purpose of punishment
