ABSTRACT This research deals with: the rulings of Imam Ibn Kathir in his interpretation of the two surahs Al Imran and An-Nisa and the approach he followed, may God have mercy on him, in mentioning the legal rulings through his interpretation. This study aimed to achieve the following: Clarifying the status and importance of legal rulings, identifying the rulings mentioned by Imam Ibn Kathir, may God have mercy on him, in the two surahs of Al Imran and An-Nisa, and contributing to the service of the Qur’an and clarifying the efforts of Imam Ibn Kathir, may God have mercy on him, in interpreting the Book of God Almighty, and highlighting the position of Imam Ibn Katheer, may God have mercy on him. Many, may God have mercy on him, have scientific and methodical method in mentioning the legal rulings from the two mentioned surahs. The researcher used the inductive, analytical, and descriptive method. This research consists of five chapters and a conclusion. Chapter one: the basics of research. Fourth and fifth chapters: They dealt with the rest of the provisions of the Qur’an according to Imam Ibn Kathir on women. The research concluded by mentioning some of the most important results, the most important of which are: The Surahs of Al-Imran and Al-Nisa’ included many legal rulings. It is the only surah that dealt with the provisions of inheritance only among the Surahs of the Qur’an.
