The investigation into variations in relative protein fractions under different salinity levels provides insights into the intricate interplay between plant physiology and stress responses. This study aimed to understand the effect of different salinity regimes on proportion of protein fractions namely albumins, globulins, glutelins and prolamins. Two different genotypes (salt tolerant and salt sensitive) of chickpea were investigated. Both genotype exhibited nuanced protein fraction modulation, highlighting dynamic protein allocation in salinity-induced stress.
