A comprehensive analysis of relevant studies was conducted, including investigations on the influence of inflammation, antibiotics, and diet on the gut microbiome in pediatric Crohn's disease, the effectiveness of dietary approaches such as semi-vegetarian diets and Mediterranean diets in relapse prevention and disease management, the role of probiotics in managing IBD, the effects of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) and butyrate on gut inflammation, the relationship between dietary fiber and IBD risk, and other potential dietary interventions.
