This deliverable ‘Human beings -Requirement’ (D8.1) describes the key ethical principles and procedures to be used for interactive research activities in the MATS project. Three procedures for the human participation in project activities are elaborated: 1) procedures and criteria for identifying and recruiting research participants, 2) procedures for obtaining informed consent of human participation in the project research/data collection, and 3) procedures for obtaining national ethics approvals, if applicable, prior to starting the study. In addition, three annexes (Annex 1. Complete List of Consortium Partners; Annex 2. Participant Information Sheet; and Annex 3. Informed Consent Form) are included
