A Study on Consumers acuity towards Online Grocery Shopping with Reference to Ulhasnagar City.

E-grocery is a form of business-to-consumer e-commerce that is mostly used for the online sale of groceries. It emphasises customer value, shopping convenience, and prompt door-to-door delivery. Due to COVID-19, consumers were forced to buy for groceries online for security reasons; yet, because of tech-savvy and comfort-seeking folks, online shopping will continue. An important factor in the rise of online grocery shopping in India is the country's expanding internet connectivity. When consumers shop for groceries online vs in-person markets, it has been noticed that their purchasing behaviours are completely different. This study aims to understand consumer acuity towards Online Grocery Shopping with Reference to Ulhasnagar City. This study considers the most popular grocery apps: Amazon, Flipkart, D-mart, Jio-mart, Deal Share, and others. The population of the research study are people from Ulhasnagar. Convenience sampling methods are used to collect relevant data by sharing survey link and getting responses through social media. Sample of 126 responses were selected and analysed for study. The results of the survey show that there is no statistically significant difference between age and gender while purchasing online groceries. The study also found that the majority of people shop from groceries online in the selected area of study
