HOLOTYPE: AMNH 146441, adult male, collected at Candamo, 13.31S, 69.41W (Stephens and Traylor, 1983), Puno, Peru, on 10 December 1916, by Harry Watkins (no. 431). COMMENTS: Zimmer cited the AMNH number of the holotype in the original description and (on p. 9) listed the specimens he examined.
