Nature has the character of a special balance in which all living beings live together in harmony with their environment. But whenever this balance is disturbed, we see the cataclysmic form of nature wreaking havoc on this world. Planet Earth has undergone many changes over these centuries. These changes are mainly due to natural disasters that happen over time. When we talk about natural disasters, pollution, ozone depletion and global warming are the most common scenarios we have experienced. The increasing industrialization and exploitation of natural resources have changed the echo system and brought it to the brink of imbalance. Hazards have a potentiality to them (they could happen), but they also include the actual impact of an event on people or places. Hazards arise from the interaction between social, technological, and natural systems”. Natural disasters are the result of danger overwhelming a highly vulnerable community, often resulting in mortality and morbidity.
