Crisis management requires a skilled, knowledgeable workforce with employees’ who are adaptive, flexible, and focused on the future. The paper concentrates on training and development of employees as an effective weapon to control crisis in Nigerian business organizations. The survey research design was used for the study. The sample for the study comprised fifty (50) employers of labour and one hundred and fifty (150) employees. The instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire. Two research questions were posited for this study. Two hypotheses were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance.
