Length (pronotum + elytra) = 1.50–2.00 mm; greatest width = 1.10–1.60 mm. Reddish brown, shiny. Head punctures fine anteriorly, coarser and denser posteriorly and laterally. Head with antennal grooves ventrally. Mandibles short, forming semicircle when closed; minute tooth near middle of left mandible. Antennal club slender; antennomere 8 disc-like, nearly as wide as apex of 7; apical antennomere longer than and nearly as wide as 10. Eyes of normal size.
