Evolution of the concepts of structural transformation of the national economy in the world

Abstract. The article examines the evolution of the features and mechanisms for the implementation of structural transformations in foreign countries, which led to the formation of the currently existing highly efficient market economies. An attempt is made to investigate the evolution of the basic theories of the cyclical development of the economy and to determine their main features in the issue of factor influence on the cyclicality and structural transformations in the system of the national economy. As a conclusion, the author substantiates an approach to determining the content of structural changes in the system of the national economy as a transition from one paradigm of development and economic growth to another paradigm more adequate to global challenges and internal demands facing society.
