The work is devoted to determining the relationships between the components of mothers' self-actualization and the cognitive abilities of their children of primary school age, depending on the level of maternal self-actualization. It was found that the stimulation of the intellectual development of the younger schoolboy in the parent-child interaction differs depending on the level of self-realization of the mother. Under the conditions of a sufficient level of maternal self-realization, her self-actualization has a positive effect on the development of the child's intellectual abilities.
