Tobacco ringspot virus was detected in 2008-2010 in central Poland in highbush blueberry plantations. In its natural range of occurrence, it causes varied disease symptoms, depending on the host plant. The virus poses the greatest threat to soybean crops and tobacco in the United States, causing significant losses in crop quality and quantity. On blueberry plants, TRSV causes, among other things, leaf blade distortion along with necrotic spots. Due to the appearance of primary infections in Poland, as well as the high threat, especially in areas of the United States where the virus occurs in large numbers, a risk analysis for this pathogen was conducted.PL; pl; PDF; kwarantanna@iorpib.poznan.p
