Tomato leaf curl New Delhi virus has been known since the 1990s. It causes significant damage to crops in the Solanaceae and Cucurbitaceae families. It is transmitted by the whitefly (Bemisia tabaci). In 2012, it appeared for the first time in Europe (Spain, Italy), causing significant crop losses in the Cucurbitaceae family. Given the the wide range of host plants, with a particular focus on those economically important Europe, the natural occurrence of the virus vector throughout the Old Continent, and the high genetic diversity of strains, there is a risk of its spread.PL; pl; PDF; kwarantanna@iorpib.poznan.p
