Missouri Bot. Gard. 62: 1110. 1975): Herb. Clifford: 399, Bidens 3 (BM-000646989). Current name: Lasianthaea fruticosa (L.) K.M. Becker (Asteraceae). Note: Blake (in J. Bot. 53: 13-14. 1915) discussed the Hortus Cliffortianus account and specimen, concluding that B. fruticosa was "based on" these two elements.
