The long account (that we find in Matthew and Luke) of the temptation of Jesus is probably originated from the Q Source. It's studied from two points of view. 1. The analysis of the narration's development ivites to take account of its saptiential and parenetical dimension. But it mainly implies to the valorization of its specifically christological dimension about which there were sometimes polemics in the abundant researchs concerning Q this last years. However, christolgy can only be appreciated in all its richness, through the valorization of its connection to theology, to the meaning of God, implied by the references to Deuteronomy. 2.
