School Principals lead the school management and share it with family members in early childhood schools in Brazil. The Scientific knowledge produced about the role of the school principal demands time to reach society. Also, the literature points out flaws in the education of the school principal as well. It suggests a gap between the literature recommendations regarding school management and: the practice of the school principal; and the family knowledge in school management.
